Curriculum only packages

As part of a radical overhaul of our range of courses and in response to requests from families, NorthStarUK has introduced a range of curriculum-only resources. Starting in September 2008, we will be offering a number of our Year 7 courses as free-standing curriculum-only packages. Families will still access these courses via our online learning environment*. Further courses will be available in 2009 with plans to have virtually our whole Key Stage 3 curriculum available by 2010.

Each curriculum-only package consists of:

An introduction to the course written by an experienced teacher
Access to our normal superb online course
Guidance for marking activities throughout the course
End of year exam with the option to have the exam marked by one of our tutors (for an additional fee of £15)

We are currently offering Year 7 curriculum-only courses in

English
Maths
Geography
Science
ICT

Curriculum-only courses are available at the low cost of £130 per subject.

* Please note that parents and students will not be able to access our range of social areas on NSUKMoodle, nor will they have access to NSUKMoodle's built-in messaging system, if they have exclusively purchased curriculum-only resources.
