 in an increasingly globalised world, NorthStarUK provides a rich online environment where students are able to socialise and learn with students all over the world.Students studying with NorthStarUK will receive tutorial support from experienced British educators. They benefit from mixing with (mainly) British students living in many parts of the world; NorthStarUK currently has students in South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. In our Student Cafe, students can discuss all sorts of issues with each other, in a safe environment supervised by our net nanny. From China to Argentina, and from Bangladesh to South Africa NSUK students discuss everything from football to debt relief, each bringing a unique international perspective to the discussion! From time to time, our net nanny runs competitions amongst our students. Click here to view photographs recently submitted by NSUK students showing where they went on their summer holidays. Students living overseas are also encouraged to see their locality as a rich learning environment. In subjects such as geography, they are encouraged to describe local features of life, in much the same way as UK-based students undertake local studies of their environment. |
