NorthStarUK is growing!  Following our recent announcement about curriculum-only courses in Year 7, we are delighted to announce further new courses that will be available from September 2008.  This growth represents our biggest single expansion since NSUK first opened its online doors in 1999.

Modern Languages

French and German are being introduced to further enhance our range of modern and classical languages.  Commencing in September we will be offering French and German in year 7 with plans to expand into additional years in September 2009.  Cambridge graduate, Rebecca Anderson, has joined the NSUK staff to offer these new subjects.  Rebecca brings a wealth of experience, having previously been second in a large modern languages department in Essex, as well as having herself been home educated overseas.

Cambridge IGCSEs

To compliment our range of Edexcel IGCSEs NSUK will be offering a range of Cambridge (CiE) IGCSEs commencing in September 2008.  Plans are advanced to offer the following subjects -

Biology

Business Studies 

Chemistry 

English Language

English Literature

Geography

History 

ICT 

Maths

Science (Dual award)

Sociology (this has been offered for a number of years)
