| NSUK is moving - virtually at least! |

Whilst all of our families are enjoying a well-earned break over the summer, NorthStarUK is moving, or at least our online home is moving to larger and more powerful servers. Since switching to Moodle as our Online Learning Environment in 2006, we have enjoyed the benefits of using server space provided by our friends at Klutzini. They have looked after us well but the time has now come to expand. The summer break will therefore see us moving NSUKMoodle and our web site to new servers provided by ServerPoint, an excellent Canadian company. Steve Richards, NorthStarUK's Educational Director commented - "As NorthStarUK expands, and as we provide richer multimedia resources for our familiies, our server requirements have increased. We have taken the decision to move to a bigger server at this time to enable us expand our range of facilities for families around the world."Our link with Klutzini will not be broken entirely however, as Paul Avril, the company's owner, will continue to provide NorthStarUK with technical assistance and expertise. |
